Editor' Review

Hopsca is the product of urban development. It becomes more and more important in today’s life. This book is a kaleidoscope of some excellent mixed use projects which are designed by famous architects all around the world, for example, Central St.Giles designed by Renzo Plano, New York by Gehry at Eight Spruce Street designed by Frank Gehry, Gensler, RTKL in cooperation with ELS design the Ritz- Carlton and JW Marriott at L.A, and three projects are designed by Zaha Hadid, etc.
The significant of Hopsca is just as what Zaha Hadid said about their project Signature Towers “Programming of public and private life is an active tool to inject life into the space, integrating new layers of activity and landscape, creating a network of synergetic uses that can develop a new urban ecology”.

Hopsca which includes hotel, office, park, shopping mall ,club, apartments, is the attempt to generate a form of life like it was in the smaller towns in former times. Slowly grown over time the town is reaching a necessary level of integration and intervened network of functions. Hopsca is generating this immediately by using old city patterns or generating astoundingly new concepts.
